BREVARD COUNTY, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that an elderly Palm Bay couple died in an accident that occurred on US-1 near the intersection of Riverview Drive at 6 p.m.on Thursday.
According to FHP, 25-year-old Marquese Turner, also of Palm Bay, was driving a 1993 Toyota northbound on US-1. Meanwhile, 77-year-old Carl Burch and 70-year-old Mary Burch were crossing the road in front of the Yellow Dog Cafe when the front of the Toyota struck both of them. Both died on the scene.
