PALM BAY, Florida — Detectives with the Palm Bay Police Department’s Major Case Unit are currently investigating a shooting at a home on the city’s northwest side where two men were found dead.

The two men found dead are identified as 26-year-old Sean Pino and 21-year-old Dylan Kane.  The man police identified as the shooter is 23-year-old Stephen Wright.

At approximately 1 a.m., Wright called 911 to report a shooting at his home. When officers arrived, they found the two male victims deceased inside the home in the 600 block of Thuringer Street NW.  So far, police say that the investigation revealed the two victims went to the home for reasons that are still under investigation.

While the men were at the home, there was a disturbance and shots were fired.  According to police, Wright claims the two men forced their way into the home armed with an unknown weapon and became extremely aggressive. Wright also claimed that the shooting was an act of self defense, police say.   Detectives are working with crime scene technicians to gather and process evidence at the scene and are continuing to investigate the circumstances that lead to the shooting deaths of the two men.

According to Florida Department of Corrections records, Kane was released from prison in May 2013 after serving a 4-year sentence for armed robbery.

  • Sean, there are so many who love you. I know things didn't happen the way these news stations tell it. They can only go by what the murderer tells them, they need to talk to the girl that was there.

  • The truth, Seany, will be known. People always judge what they do not know. We know your heart, we love you. Fly with those Angels.
