PORT CANAVERAL, Florida — Tickets are now on sale for the 29th Annual Chowder Cook-Off that will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Cruise Terminal #4 in Port Canaveral, Florida. The event is open to the public with V.I.P. admission beginning at 5 p.m. and general admission at 6 p.m.
Tickets are available at VisitCocoaBeach.com, the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce office (400 Fortenberry Rd, Merritt Island), the CVB’s Tourist Information Center (8501 Astronaut Blvd., Cape Canaveral), The Exploration Tower in Port Canaveral, Baja Tavern and Eats, Grills Seafood in Port Canaveral, Rusty’s Seafood in Port Canaveral, Fishlips in Port Canaveral, Milliken’s Reef, Wild Ocean Seafood Market in Titusville and Port Canaveral, and all Crest Cleaner Locations.
Restaurant participants include, but are not limited to, Rusty’s Seafood and Oyster Bar, Coconuts on the Beach, Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill, Baja Tavern, Rendezvous, Grills at the Port and Milliken’s Reef.
General Admission
General Admission to the event is $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door. Admission includes sample tastings of all chowders, appetizers and desserts, hor d’oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction, drawings, live entertainment and lots of fun! Restaurant participants will compete for the coveted “People’s Choice” Award as well as the award for the Best Chowder according to our local celebrity judges panel.
V.I.P. Tickets
This year’s V.I.P. party is hosted by Wild Ocean Seafood Market. V.I.P. tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. V.I.P. admission ticket includes early admission, sampling without the crowds, a complementary beer or wine, a special giveaway, early silent auction bidding and 1 out of 8 V.I.P. attendees will receive a door prize.
