MELBOURNE, Florida — An Indian River Lagoon public forum will be held at the Front Street Civic Center located at 2205 South Front Street in Melbourne, Florida at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014
The event will feature experts who will discuss “What we know and don’t know” about the problems facing the Indian River Lagoon.
The guest speakers are Dr. Tom Belanger, Professor, Marine & Environmental Systems, Florida Tech; Dick Martens, Director (retired), Brevard Utilities for 28 years; Troy Rice, Director, Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program, SJRWMD; and Dr. Leesa Souto, Executive Director, Marine Resources Council.
Free and open to the public, the event is co-hosted by Partnership for a Sustainable Future, Save Our Aquifer, Turtle Coast Sierra Club, and Space Coast Progressive Alliance.
