Missing Corrections Deputy's Body Found
TITUSVILLE, Florida — The body of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Corrections Deputy, who was reported missing by his family early Sunday morning, has been found in Titusville, Florida. Since Darrel Conner was reported missing, search teams comprised from BCSO, the Titusville Police Department, and community volunteers had searched for Conner until teams in the area of Garden Street and Interstate 95 located his body on Wednesday morning.
Conner was a Type 2 diabetic, who had expired most likely from his medical condition, officials believe.
“While we may never have all of the answers, what we do know is that Darrel was a well-respected member of our agency and was beloved by his family, co-workers and friends.” Sheriff Wayne Ivey said in a statement.
