PALM BAY, Florida – The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that 48-year-old Jonathan Sarakas of Palm Bay, Florida died this morning from the injuries he sustained in a fatal crash which occurred just before 3 a.m. on Minton Road near Carriage Gate Drive.
Sarakas was driving a 2000 Mercury 4-door southbound on Minton Road when, for an unknown reason, Sarakas lost control and traveled onto the shoulder.
FHP says that Sarakas then overcorrected and traveled through the median and across the northbound lanes. The Mercury overturned and Sarakas, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.

3 a.m..maybe he was just getting of of work....RIP
He was just leaving work.rip js
I drove by the accident scene almost immediately after it happened the cops were beginning to block off the North bound lanes before medics arrived. The vehicle was on its side with a sheet covering him. Prayers go out to his family, friends and all of those who knew him from traxx and or anywhere else. Please be careful everyone. As my parents have always told me, nothing good happens after midnight. I've lost too many friends over the past few years. Most of which were late at night with most (but not all) being alcohol/drug related. Life is very fragile. Some things can't be avoided but more often than not they can be by making the right choices. Live life right. Don't hurt anyone, be your own person don't get caught up in what is "cool." Time is precious. Not saying he did anything wrong just hate seeing this happen over and over again to people who could have avoided being injured and/or killed by making better choices. From personal experience I now know that if you do things that you shouldn't, it will eventually catch up to you in one way or another. It's always, ALWAYS a good time to do the right thing because tragedy can happen at any moment so "don't be late." Sorry for ranting but whether only one person or a million people take this to heart and it helps them change bad ways, it's worth trying. If you need to talk or vent or want help but don't know who to turn to please feel free to email me at justindaughtrey@gmail.com Ill do whatever I can to help.Much love-Justin
