Titusville TARGET Evacuated After Bomb Threat

TITUSVILLE, Florida — The Titusville Police Department responded to a bomb threat at the Target store located at 3055 Columbia Boulevard in Titusville, Florida just before 11 a.m. this morning.
Police say that the manager of the store received a telephone call from someone indicating specific information about a bomb at this specific store.  The manager then began evacuating the store and notified the Titusville Police Department.
After police arrived on scene, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad was requested due to the specificity of the threat.  The BCSO Bomb Squad arrived and suggested two or three other small businesses attached to the Target should also be evacuated.
However, no devices were discovered after the stores were fully searched.  Titusville Police are now following up on possible leads in this case.
