BREVARD COUNTY, Florida — An All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash has seriously injured one adult and two children near Scottsmoor, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Martha Richardson was operating an ATV in the parking lot located at 4245 Stuckaway Road near I-95. When Richardson began to back up, she lost control of the ATV and struck a parked Chevy Impala in the parking lot. The ATV then continued out of control and overturned, pinning Richardson and one of the children under the ATV.
Richardson and a 4-year-old passenger were transported to Parrish Hospital in Titusville, Florida. A 12-year-old passenger was transported to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida. All of the victims are from Osteen, Florida.
FHP says that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
