CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida — The launch of a Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) Falcon 9 rocket carrying six ORBCOMM Generation 2 satellites that was scheduled to liftoff at 9:47 a.m. EDT on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from Space Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida has been delayed.

A static fire test in advance of SpaceX’s ORBCOMM OG2 Mission 1 was scrubbed Friday morning during fueling.

According to SpaceX, both the Falcon 9 rocket and ORBCOMM satellites are in good condition but as a result of schedule constraints, launch will be postponed past this weekend with the next opportunity most likely in late May.
