TITUSVILLE, Florida — The Titusville Police Department will be hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Target located at 3055 Columbia Boulevard from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00p.m.
National Night Out is a crime prevention initiative designed to improve partnerships between law enforcement, businesses and the community.
This year, Titusville Police are adding two bounce houses, a mounted horse units from the Brevard County Sheriff, their department’s full-time Victim Advocate, and free Halloween candy bags that will contain glow-in-the-dark necklaces and wristbands.
Titusville Police will also provide free hotdogs and drinks while supplies last.
The event will feature K9 demonstrations, Command Post tours, SWAT gear, a 1949 police car, and an antique Fire truck with an array of other vehicles.
