MERRITT ISLAND, Florida – A home caught fire around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2015, in the 400 block of Patrick Avenue in Merritt Island.
Brevard County Fire Rescue crews were able to quickly knock down the blaze. Although the home suffered damage, no injuries were reported. BCFR contacted the Red Cross because four people were displaced from the home due to the fire.
