Missing Cocoa Beach Boy Found By Brevard County Deputies


UPDATE: Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies have located Cole on Cedar Avenue in Cocoa Beach. Preliminary reports are that he is unharmed – besides a few scrapes and scratches.
COCOA BEACH, Florida – The Cocoa Beach Police Department, in conjunction with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, are continuing to investigate the disappearance of an 11-year-old boy who was last seen in Cocoa Beach, Florida on Thursday evening.
Police say that Cole Monda was last seen within a few blocks of his home on Oak Drive around 6:00p.m. on September 17, 2015.
Cole was wearing khaki shorts, a black shirt, and no shoes. He is described as having blonde hair and blues, 4’2″ tall, and weighing 60 pounds. Cole was reported missing several hours after he was last seen when he did not return home.
Ground patrol units and a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office helicopter searched for Cole overnight and into early morning Friday – but were unable to locate the boy.
