MERRITT ISLAND, Florida – A fatal crash occurred on the westbound lanes of State Road 528 (Beachline) Monday morning on Merritt Island, Florida.
Westbound lanes have been closed to allow medical rescue helicopters to land and for law enforcement to investigate the crash scene. Another subsequent, minor crash occurred on Sea Ray Drive when traffic was diverted off of State Road 528.
Motorists should use State Road 520 as an alternate westbound route.
