The distribution will take place today starting at 11:30 a.m. and will continue through 6:00 p.m. tonight.
Sandbags will also be distributed on Friday, October 6th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. or until supplies are depleted.
The distribution site will be located across the street from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Jail Complex located at 860 Camp Road in Sharpes.
The distribution site is the former Brevard Correctional Institute property and BCSO staff will be on site to direct motorists.
Each vehicle will be limited to 10 sandbags that will be prepared and loaded in your vehicle for you at no cost.
