Roku Drops Fox Channel Streaming Before Superbowl 2020 Time

Roku customers who were hoping to watch Superbowl 2020 on Fox channels will have to choose a different streaming service because Roku announced that it is dropping the Fox app from its streaming hardware.

“On January 31, 2020, all standalone FOX channels will no longer be available on Roku streaming devices,” Roku stated in an email to customers.

“You can still watch FOX channels through these services: FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, SlingTV, YouTube TV and other live TV services, many of which offer free trials. We also have thousands of other great channels in the Roku Channel Store. We’ve got you covered!

If you have a Roku TV, you may be able to receive FOX over the air with an antenna.”

“Hey @Roku, where’d the love go? Stop threatening your own customers and leave the @FOXTV apps alone,” FOX tweeted in response.
