West Palm Beach Man Killed In Turnpike Crash

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Florida – A West Palm Beach man did not survive the injuries he sustained in a single-vehicle crash that occurred just after 2 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020, on the Florida Turnpike near mile marker 228 in Osceola County, Florida.

51-year-old Christopher Considine was driving a 2016 Jeep SUV northbound on the Florida Turnpike.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Considine lost control of the Jeep for an unknown reason.

The Jeep overturned multiple times and partially ejected Considine who was later pronounced deceased at the scene and transported to the Osceola County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Two passengers in the vehicle, 18-year-old Alexander Ramirez of New York 21-year-old Joseph Desiderio of Coral Springs, Florida, suffered serious injuries.

Both were transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center.

The only occupant wearing a seat belt in the vehicle was 39-year-old Desiree Jacobsen of Davenport, Florida who suffered minor injuries, according to FHP reports.

FHP troopers say that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
