Florida Man And Puppy In Custody For Shoplifting

BRANDON, Florida - The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said that they have detained their “cutest accomplice” in a shoplifting case that occurred on Wednesday in Brandon, Florida.

22-year-old Logan Wilson allegedly shoplifted $259 worth of merchandise from a Bass Pro Shop.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies located Wilson after he left the store and conducted a traffic stop.

Wilson’s four-legged accomplice, a tiny puppy, was in the vehicle when deputies arrested him.

“THE CUTEST ACCOMPLICE: The owner of this small puppy was caught shoplifting at an area Bass Pro Shops with the puppy in hand! đŸŸ,” the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook.

“Our District 5 Street Crimes Unit arrested the person for Petit Theft and possession of meth. #TeamHCSO deputies took great care of the puppy before handing him over to Hillsborough County Animal Services who will care for him until his owner is released from jail.”

If Wilson does not claim the puppy upon his release, HCSO will put the puppy up for adoption through Hillsborough County Animal Services.
