City of Satellite Beach To Close Beaches

SATELLITE BEACH, Florida – The City of Satellite Beach announced that it will close beaches this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“In an effort to minimize the expected beach crowds to the City of Satellite Beach beaches this coming weekend, the City of Satellite Beach will be closing all public beach accesses between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm on Friday, March 27th, Saturday, March 28th and Sunday, March 29, 2020,” the City stated.

The City is closing the beaches during these hours and days to ensure compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order 20-68. Any efforts to access the beaches through the dunes is prohibited and will be strictly enforced.”
