Florida Coronavirus Cases Map By County March 16, 2020 Update

The Florida Department of Health announced at 12:38 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020, that 34 new coronavirus cases were identified which raises the total positive COVID-19 cases from 115 to 155 patients.

137 cases are Florida residents and 18 cases are visitors in Florida.

4 Florida residents have died from the coronavirus.

Around one-fourth of all coronavirus in Florida are located in Broward County (Fort Lauderdale area).

Three South Florida counties, Palm Beach, Dade, and Broward account for 44 percent of all Florida cases.

Volusia County, where crowds recently gathered for Bike Week and Spring Break in Daytona Beach, Florida, has the most coronavirus cases of any Central Florida county.

Brevard County, which encompasses both Port Canaveral’s high volume cruise ships and the popular Cocoa Beach tourist destination, has surprisingly not reported a single case of coronavirus to date.
