Orlando Alcohol Ban At Bars, Restaurants, Hotels Starts St. Patrick’s Day

ORLANDO, Florida – City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced that effective immediately on St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the sale of alcohol for consumption on-premises is banned in an effort to encourage people to stay at home to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

UPDATE: Florida Governor Orders Closure Of All Bars And Nightclubs

The Orlando alcohol ban includes the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumption at restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and hotels.

The alcohol ban will remain in effect through March 31, 2020.

The alcohol ban does not include the sale of alcohol for off-premises consumption such as alcohol sold at grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores, and gas stations.
