Orlando Woman Dies After Fall From 4th Floor Cocoa Beach Hotel

COCOA BEACH, Florida – An Orlando, Florida woman died as a result of injuries she sustained after falling from a fourth floor balcony at a hotel in Cocoa Beach, Florida, on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Cocoa Beach Police and Fire personnel responded to Quality Inn and Suites located at 3901 North Atlantic Avenue around 10 a.m. this morning following a report of a woman who fell from the fourth floor balcony.

The woman was initially transported by fire rescue crews to Cape Canaveral Hospital and was then airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Cocoa Beach Police are still investigating the circumstances that led up to the woman’s fall.

The woman’s identity has not yet been released pending next-of-kin notification.
