1 Dead, 1 Injured In Melbourne Motorcycle Crash

MELBOURNE, Florida – On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Melbourne police officers responded to the 800 Block of South Harbor City Boulevard regarding a vehicle versus motorcycle crash.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the operator and passenger of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle had been thrown from the motorcycle and had suffered serious, life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

Both persons were transported to an area hospital by emergency medical services for medical treatment where the passenger ultimately succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The passenger of the motorcycle did not appear to be wearing a helmet. Impairment of drugs or alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash at this time.
The crash is still under investigation.
