Cocoa Beach Surf Museum Presents Free Film Surf Crazy

Cocoa Beach, Florida - The Cocoa Beach Surf Museum is presenting the movie Surf Crazy at the Cocoa Beach Library on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 7:00 pm.  The movie Surf Crazy is from the Bruce Brown Golden Years of Surf Collection.  

Doors open for the movie Surf Crazy at 6:30 pm tonight, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Cocoa Beach Library.  The movie begins at 7:00 pm.  Complimentary popcorn and drinks will be provided by Sunseed Co-Op. 

In the film Surf Crazy, filmed in 1959, Bruce Brown takes a group of surfers to Mexico to explore previously unsurfed shores.  Also shown in the film are some vintage California surfing, the mammoth waves of Hawaii, as well as one of the largest waves ever ridden at Waimea Bay.
